Drapery Rods And Finials How High Above The Window Do You Put The Drapery Rod When Hanging Drapery Panels?

How high above the window do you put the drapery rod when hanging drapery panels? - drapery rods and finials

Is there a kind of guideline to follow when determining where the bar is set against the window? I've seen some designers block much larger than the window, or they get a rod that is much longer than the current window, all for the window bigger or more presence. The plates were involved in all different lengths and do not know how long until I realized, would be given how high the bar. Has anyone any advice?

If you have low ceilings, and I want the windows and walls lined the illusion of height below the ceiling. Even if you can even more limited Block, more and more high drama at the window, but it's really just a matter of preference and, as mentioned above, while the plates are.

Usually, you buy the plates first, then the bars. To find out where the bar (s) so that the panel is located directly above (or even touching to) fix the floor. There are no guidelines. I have a normal window in the house that people think it is a sliding door, because I have two large plates, they sat through the curtains. Still hangs about 2 inches from top of window. Next is about 5 mm from each end.
